Hi, Scarlet here!
First, I want to thank everyone who's been using our website. It is good to know that people are making good use of what we did!
If you ever had come here before, you noticed that we changed the entire layout of the website, so I hope you like it!
For newer users, sure it won't be noticeable, but I hope you can enjoy all the changes I've made and the new layout as well!
I'm still working on the layout of all pages, and in the future, I will change most parts of them.
I wish I could work on new stuff and add more content, but it is too hard to keep track of everything alone.
As things are now, I need to grab all the information (profiles facts, videos, articles, lyrics, translations, links, photos, etc.), then organize it into categories, distribute them into sub-categories, plan how the pages will work, plan the layout and functionality, and then, after all that, add the content and be able to post.
That's a whole lot of work.
With a free account, we can't have more than one person to directly edit the website, so it depends on me to do it all.
BUT if we have more one or two people, just to help to find and grab the information, it will allow me to focus on other stuff and/or be able to add things faster.
Even if you can't compromise yourself to work as a permanent team member if you can contribute to add a few things here and there (like links, translations you made, etc.), it already will help a lot.
I really, REALLY want to add Onewe content in the future, but it is already too hard to keep up and post all Oneus content.
I'm still stuck with pending pages (lyrics and articles), and I couldn't even try to work on posting the tutorials pages.*deep sigh
Big shout out to @oneusvoting, thank you guys for your hard work and for allowing us to post some of your tutorials.
Since when our boys released the official colors, I knew I had to change the layout to fit them, but it took me months to do it.
I had to test the color combinations, plan how to place them in a way it would not be too-in-your-face or overwhelming, sit down, work on photoshop to make the background, then sit down again to make more layout tests.
Thank you, Elizabeth, for sticking with me through all that process, helping me to brainstorm and make the right choices!
After the basic layout process was done, I had to stop and think about a way to revamp all the pages, as they have different layouts and functionalities.
When everything was planned and decided, I started to change them ONE BY ONE, making sure that all the buttons, boxes, and text, are in the right colors, or at least are not mixed with the old colors.
The first batch of new pages was updated with the new layout release: the Profiles page has a new layout, a new gallery with the boys' Twitter selcas, but it still lacks a lot of information, as I only did copy what we had there previously.
All the changes will be done little by little, and it is still a work in progress.
I hope you can understand the lack of new content.
Regarding Road to Kingdom, I will keep updating the pages, and they will be kept as they are now and, once the show is over, I will think of how to move them properly to permanent content.
Right now, I'm actually working on the new pages for the Music Shows Performances, so please, be patient.
The new pages and how they will work are different from the way they do now, everything will be split by Music Show AND by eras, instead of only by Music Show.
I will be updating the performances for the end of the 'LIT' era, plus all 'ASWE' pages.
7 Music Shows X 4 Releases (not including the JP releases) = 28 pages.
It looks like a lot of work, but as the releases keep coming, those pages won't need to be changed.
I will add the new releases on new pages tho, so it is still a lot of work, but it will not mess up the previous content.
After the new Music Shows pages and the pending pages are done, my next step is to work on new pages, starting with pages for translations of their Twitter posts.
Big shout out to @oneus_trans, thank you guys for your hard work and for allowing us to use your content!
Also, if you are one of those people that post translations to other languages, please contact Emily via DM on Twitter, allowing us to post them, this way we can have everything on languages that are not only English (our Twitter account is linked on the page's footer).
Eventually, one day in the far future, if I have the time, I can think about posting everything on PT-BR, but for now, I can't even think about that. (Se alguém quiser ajudar, será bem vindo!)
I have a long list of things to do, and I hope to be able to do, at least part of that, the next month.
I also have a long list of videos to update on multiple pages, and more video pages to add with other content, but before that happens, I want to have a new system of posting before updating it all.
The actual way the pages work is not really of my liking (although I made them), so now that I understand better how to work on dynamic pages, I can change them to work more cohesively.
Out of the fansite, I also have my own personal website project, my photoshop skills development to work on, and my personal life, so I need to ask you to don't despair, don't be mad at me, and bear with me while I work on everything.
If you have ideas, suggestions, or if you want to contribute to the website, please contact us.
This was Scarlet again, writing an essay just to complain about things and ask you to help.
Thank you again for using the website, love our boys, and help them shine!
Keonhee is my light, and in Keonhee I trust.
Love.
Scarlet.
